Each FIG meets for an entire year with the option for course credit in the spring. Your Peer Mentor will act as the instructor for this course by organizing weekly meetings and 6-8 programs a semester.
A passing grade is based on regular attendance and participation-an estimated time commitment of 1-2 hours a week.
FIG residents move in on August 15, 2009—a week before school begins—and participate in our annual Day on the Dam and a team-building low-ropes course. FIG residents are strongly encouraged to also attend Connections, a valuable orientation course that runs the week before classes begin.
